Meet the team

A qualified Design Engineer with over 30 years experience in the Ceramic Tile industry including 11 years with Craven Dunnill. David has worked on the most technical and challenging of award winning projects all over the UK and globally not only from a specification and technical point of view but also from a practical production perspective. Representing the Ceramic Tile Industry on the UK Slip Resistance Group Technical Committee as well as the British Standards Institute, he is also a member of The Tile Association Technical Committee and The Tile Association Board of Directors.
Paul began his ceramics career in 1984 in the sales office of an established distributor and has since amassed 38 years of industry experience. With experience in retail distribution and a short but informatively productive spell in commercial tile contracts management, Paul was pivotal in launching Craven Dunnill Project Ceramics in 2006 and has spent the last 16 years committed to the specification supply sector. His knowledge of Specifiers and the expectations of a contracts’ material supplier are exceptional given his unrivalled experience in all aspects of the business including the important understanding of ‘on time’ material procurement and distribution operations.
Following an education in the agricultural industry Nigel spent several years developing his professional sales management skills both in the UK and overseas. In 1996 began in the ceramics industry and continued to develop his sales career on a vast array of projects with architects, designers and specifiers. In 2006 Nigel was pivotal in launching Craven Dunnill Project Ceramics and has since enjoyed developing relationships with existing and new contacts and working on increasingly technical and diverse projects in the UK. With almost 30 years of experience building relationships Nigel firmly believes that these lead to successful business partnerships.
Doug started in the ceramics industry in 1986 by managing numerous prestigious specifications for Swimming Pools and Leisure Facilities. He continued to develop his breadth of knowledge creating specifications with interior designers and architects for all types of internal and external ceramic projects, both in the UK and overseas. Following a stint as Showroom Manager in London for a large ceramic tile company Doug joined Craven Dunnill in 2013 bringing 36 years of experience and a wealth of connections within London and the South East region where he is responsible for business development.
Rachael first joined Craven Dunnill 7 years ago. She initially worked in our award-winning Showroom and then later progressed to working in our Sales Office. After building up her knowledge across these areas of the business, she began working within the Specification department in 2018. Here she has assisted members of the team by applying her organisational skills and implementing methods to ensure the smooth running of the department. Rachael is currently working part time on various project management tasks as she recently embarked on her latest challenge of Motherhood.
Lisa entered into her first professional role in the ceramic tile industry when she joined Craven Dunnill in 2016. Spending an initial two and half years building up a wealth of knowledge within our award-winning Showroom she then spent a further two and half years within our busy Customer Services department. In 2021 Lisa took the opportunity to transfer her ever expanding skill set in to a new and exciting challenge in accepting her current role within our expanding Specification Sales Team.
Chris joined Craven Dunnill 25 years ago and has spent time in almost every department in the company. Starting in logistics he then transferred into merchandising where his interest in interior design came to the fore. His product knowledge excelled and led him to join the sales team as an Area Sales Manager in the retail division in 2006. With a quarter of a century experience across the business and a flare for design, his latest challenge is the role of Housebuilder Sales Manager working within this dynamic segment together with our partners to deliver exceptional solutions.
Joining Craven Dunnill in 2003, Diane has progressed through various departments and roles in almost 20 years of service. Over the past 15 years she has dedicated her vast industry expertise in heading up our very busy and dynamic marketing team. Leading the team in product, digital and content marketing, Di collaborates closely with our dedicated Specification Sales team ensuring we fully meet the expectations of our diverse range of clients throughout a multitude of business sectors.
Starting at Craven Dunnill in 2013, Katie has worked her way through different areas of the business, including working for a year in the Showroom and Client Consultation area. After gaining around 8 years of experience of Marketing for the company, Katies main responsibilities include keeping product information and content up to date on the company websites, preparing product samples for customer dispatch and administration. Katie has a keen eye for detail and is always ready to step in and help out in all areas of the business.
